1847 - 1962

From 1851 through 1962, three generations of Scribners owned and operated a saw mill on the Crooked River in Harrison, Maine. Originally built in 1847, the homestead and restored saw mill are preserved to this day as a testimony of family values, hard work, and pride of ownership. This is the history of the life and times of the Scribner family and the saw mill that was their common bond.
